Linda found us a new house to move into here in Sun City. Nothing wrong with our current house, but for the past six months, Shirley had suffered a series of mini-strokes and could not maneuver her walker down the driveway easily, so we needed to find a home to rent that had a flat driveway. I contacted a number of local realtors and asked them for their help. Linda stepped up to the plate and found us the perfect house that happens to have a flat driveway, so Shirley will be able to get out and peruse the neighborhood and as a bonus, I get my very own Casita, so I can continue with working on your computer problems.

Hi Linda, 

You probably haven`t heard but my softball team, the Roadrunners, won the Sun City softball championship on Thursday after playing 15 regular season games and 3 playoff games.  I played shortstop for the team and perhaps contributed just a smidgeon to the ultimate championship run.

And it`s all because of you.  You told me about the softball field last September and I drove by there after your open house.  I was so impressed by the quality of the field that I wanted to get my old glove and cleats out and maybe try them on again.  After I purchased my home through you I tried out for the leage and was selected for a team; the winning team.  Now 40 of us are going on an 11 day cruise in April to Acapulco and the Mexican Riviera.

Anyway,  just wanted to remind and thank you for putting me in touch with that group because it has been a lot of fun.   I`ve recently bought a new bat, glove, and cleats and plan to play this spring and summer when I`m here.  I also joined the Racquet Club, Boomers and Friends, and the Italian Heritage Club and am enjoying the social functions.

 I recently closed a most successful transaction in which Linda Novick was the listing agent. Being a broker I represented myself as selling agent and normally there is an inherent adversarial relationship between listing and selling agent since the former is trying to get the best price for her client and the latter is trying to pay the lowest price possible. However, in this transaction, which happened to be an upper mid-priced home in Sun City Palm Desert, the negotiations were unusually easy and virtually seamless. Linda had properly counseled her clients on current market conditions in a very tough seller`s market where buyers have multiple options. As a result the sellers were realistic, and a fair and equitable price was agreed to right away. Escrow went very smoothly and I must say that Linda has an excellent team, from the escrow officer to the document coordinator to the loan broker (if needed). She also handled all property inspection issues in a most professional manner. Escrow closed slightly ahead of schedule with no glitches and Linda has followed up on any and all outstanding issues. I can therefore unequivocally say that she is a knowledgeable, ethical, detail oriented, high quality realtor who is very good at what she does, whether it means representing a buyer or a seller. Since this was probably the easiest transaction I have ever completed, and I have completed scores of them, I wholeheartedly recommend Linda Novick as a real estate broker who gets results, is very easy to deal with, and on whom you can depend for a successful transaction.
